About DevEmbers

DevEmbers was born from a simple observation: the best developer tools are like embers — small, focused sources of intense energy that quietly power everything around them.

Too many tools try to be everything to everyone. They start focused, then expand into sprawling platforms that slow down the very workflows they promised to improve. Every new feature adds configuration, documentation, and cognitive load.

We take a different approach. Each DevEmbers tool does one thing and does it exceptionally well. We believe in zero-configuration defaults, keyboard-first design, and respecting the developer's existing workflow rather than imposing a new one.

Our tools are built with TypeScript, focused on VS Code, the browser, the terminal, and macOS/Linux. We ship early and iterate based on real usage.
